AFTD’s mission is to improve the quality of life of people affected by FTD and drive research to a cure. Frontotemporal Degeneration is a rare disorder that causes impairment in personality, language, behavior and/or movement. FTD is a progressive disease with onset occurring most often in the 40’s- 60’s.
