LR Falk Construction has immediate openings for seasonal CDL Class A Truck Drivers!

The Seasonal CDL Class A Truck Driver will safely and efficiently deliver materials to customers or job sites in a timely and professional manner. Hours may vary depending on weather and projects throughout the season. Position is temporary/seasonal but some weeks may require overtime.

Duties:

• Operate a Class A commercial truck to haul rock and other aggregate materials.
• Transport loads to customer locations and job sites in compliance with delivery schedules.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Communicate with dispatchers to coordinate deliveries.
• Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on trucks. Refer defects or repairs to the maintenance department.  Clean equipment and dump box or trailer.
• Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and quarry site safety procedures.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and MSHA and company safety programs.
• Fill out paperwork timely and accurately

Physical Requirements:  Must have ability to lift at least 50 pounds, must have the ability to climb into truck and work at heights of at least 30 feet and must have ability to sit for long periods of time.  Also requires occasional bending, twisting, reaching and crouching.  Must be willing to work overtime.

Working Conditions:  Work areas are exposed to all elements of weather, loud noise, dusty conditions and uneven ground. Also, exposure to chemicals and heavy moving machinery.
